BiographyHistory

'Rebel Challenger is an artist and wildlife carer who lives on a leafy acreage property, south of Brisbane. She has a background in graphic design and art direction, and has a science degree from the time when she wanted to be a park ranger.

'Rebel has been drawing since she was a child. Her first artworks were created at about age three using her fingers in the dirt, but these days she mostly draws with ink on paper or creates digital art. Rebel’s artwork is full of humour and colour and is inspired by the animals she cares for, as well as the chickens and ducks who wander around her backyard.' (Scholastic)
