Bruce Beeby was born and raised in Australia but worked in the UK during the early 1950s, with wife (and fellow Australian actor) Madi Hedd. In the UK, he is best known for his role as Stephen 'Mitch' Mitchell in the BBc radio serials Journey into Space.
