BiographyHistory

The child of parents who arrived in Australia from Malaysia in the 1970s, Eddie Woo is a mathematician, known for his YouTube channel, which explains maths problems (and is based on his high-school classes). He published Woo's Wonderful World of Maths in 2018: it was longlisted for an Australian Book Industry Award (general non-fiction) in 2019. In 2019, his documentary series Teenage Boss (in which teenagers are put in charge of the family budget) was nominated for a Logie Award for most outstanding children's program.
