BiographyHistory

Academic, Aboriginal spokesman, and artist.

Shane Smithers has lectured in community development, cultural studies and communications at the University of Western Sydney, Indigenous Education at Macquarie University, and Cultural Perspectives at UWS College. His paintings and wooden artefacts have been exhibited on numerous occasions. His first book was published by Magalaba Books in July 2018.
