'[A] shipboard story, much of the setting of which will come within the experience of scores of listeners. The great liner is nearing its Australian destination; all the sports competitions are over; the ship's concert has been a success; passengers are turning their thoughts from leisured ease, overeating, idle conversation and fun with easily made shipboard friends to the hard, real facts of normal life lying ahead. It is at this point -- while everybody is contemplating the return "down to earth" -- that the playwright looks in upon the private lives of several couples on the ship.'
