Benny Hodges, Principal Sole Trader of Benny Hodges Consultancy, had spent over 20 years working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander affairs. He was

employed in the Aboriginal Legal Service, Aboriginal Development Commission (ADC), Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission (ATSIC) and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Services (ATSIS). Hodges had held positions as Senior Field Officer, Senior Project Officer (ASO 6), EL 1 and EL 2 in the respective fields of employment.
