History
The White Ravens catalogue is annually at the White Ravens Festival for International Children's and Youth Literature hosted by the International Youth Library in Munich.
Each year the language specialists (Lektoren) at the International Youth Library (IYL), in Munich, Germany, select newly published books from around the world that they consider to be especially noteworthy.
Previously the awards were presented at the Bologna Children's Book Fair, Bologna, Italy.
