Jayne Davis was a film editor and also worked in on-air presentation for Channel 9 in the 1960s and 1970s.

Jayne Davis also holds some material relating to the career of Ann Davis, the creator and puppeteer of Amanda the Cat and other puppets used in children's television programs in the 1950s and 1960s. Other Ann Davis material is now held by the Powerhouse Museum and the SBW Foundation Archives.
