Content Summary

  • Television scripts: approximately 2000 scripts of Crawfords Productions series. In some cases there are multiple scripts (first draft typescript, carbons, Production, Director, draft, lighting and so forth), some scripts are annotated. Most are early photocopies, many have punch holes, but they have been rebound in lever arch file folders. Among the programs included are episodes of "The Sullivans", "Flying Doctors", "Homicide", "Matlock", "Acropolis Now", "Holiday Island", "All the Way" and "Carson’s Law", 1979-1995
  • Additional documents: production notes and historical background papers, particularly for "The Sullivans", 1979-1995
  • Photographs: large collection of research and production photographs in varying conditions, most are polaroids. Some colour photographic prints and slides are set in large A3 Spirex bound ‘art’ books on cartridge paper, 1979-c1989

Comments

Jeff Doyle is a Visiting Fellow at the University of NSW at the Australian Defence Force Academy. He was invited to take material when Crawfords was demolishing former premises. He is gradually cataloguing and conserving the material.
