Comments

Ron Barratt worked as a journalist for the Perth "Daily News" from 1955 to 1959 and again from 1965 to 1990 when the paper folded. Among his roles there he was Editorial Systems Development Manager, in charge of bringing in computers for editorial staff and was Editor of the paper. He subsequently worked for the "Sunday Times" for fifteen years, first as Business Editor, then as Editorial Systems Manager, again tasked with bringing in a newspaper-wide computer system.
