What I've done

• Finished the Stage 1 Report

• Read the ALEG Funding Application Draft 2001-03

• Thought about the data model. Created a draft "inventory" of the data we need to keep and the relationships we need to represent.

  This data model is in only a very early stage, and I expect that I'll spend the next 2 to 3 weeks working pretty much on this and not much else.

  Most of the material is currently "pencil on paper", but I'll work to get it in a shareable electronic form early next week, and then start pestering Marie-Louise, Annette and Kerry for feedback.

• Created a mini-web site to hold the expanding doco in some basically structured format:

  It uses an Internet Explorer oriented style-sheet, which makes a few things wonky on Netscape (especially link colour), which I'll fix if it causes a hassle.

• Find out more about Kinetica and NLA plans for making holdings data available at no cost (?) (carried over from last week - but I have a plan to find out more next week!)

• Write up current Data Model thoughts and get them on the mini web site.

• Currently this mini web site is running on a network drive but only I have access. I'd like to run it on a shared network drive so that MLA, ALM, KK can update it - I'll talk to the IT people about this.

• Going fine - I expect the next few weeks to lay some pretty firm foundations for the rest of the project.
