Notes:

The Australian Woman's Mirror gives the following description of this novel:

'Readers who enjoyed the fascinating "Tide-Rips", which appeared as a serial about eighteen months ago, will welcome this new novel from the same pen. As in the former story the scene of "The Three Daughters" is mainly set in Papua, a territory which Alys Brown, from her long residence there, knows so thoroughly. The new serial will be found an interesting blend of romance and adventure, with the characters playing their parts on the "raw edge of life".'
