Set in a drawing room, the sketch involves the characters Stiffy, George, Mrs Sellum, and Mr Sellum.

Notes

  • This comedy sketch is believed to have been performed by Nat Phillips sometime between late 1914 and July 1916, at which time he formed the Nat Phillips Tabloid Musical Comedy Comapny, starring himself and Roy Rene as Stiffy and Mo. The cast for the sketch would have likely included Phillips's wife, Daisy Merritt, possibly as Mrs Sellum.

  • This entry has been sourced from on-going historical research into Australian-written music theatre being conducted by Dr Clay Djubal.
