Notes

  • First presented as part of the entertainment for Garnet Walch's benefit teneded in late August 1872. 'Quarantine' was advertised as a 'sketch' in the Sydney Morning Herald 23 August, 1872, 2 and described as a 'farce' in the review of the benefit (Sydney Morning Herald 31 August 1872, 7). The cast list for the 1873 Hobart season is included in an advertisement published in the Mercury 17 January 1873.
  • 1872 : Masonic Hall, Sydney; 30 August (benefit). Dir. Charles Young. Cast incl. Hans Phillips (Mr Peppercorn Scoop), Miss Morgan, Mr Andrews.
