The poem 'To My Beloved', attributed to 'E.' and published in the the New South Wales Examiner, 25 May 1842, was originally published in 1837 and attributed to 'G.'. Also, the poem 'To Chloe', again attributed to 'E.' in the New South Wales Examiner, 18 June 1842, was originally published in 1837 under the signature 'C.'.
No connection between 'G.', 'C.' and 'E.' has yet been established.
