Notes

  • The Panton Arts Club was a London based club, formed under the presidency of English artist F. Cayley Robinson, and run by expatriat Australian artist and writer Edith M. Fry. The club appears to have started up in the early to mid 1920s and run through to about the mid 1930s. For a number of years the club held twice yearly arts festivals in London, which were intended to promote new and emerging artists and writers from throughout the British Commonwealth and also Britain. The Panton Magazine appears to have been the club magazine.
