BiographyHistory

Norman Underwood was educated at Yarrabah mission for two years. Underwood worked in various jobs such as on fishing boats and horse teams in the cane fields, droving, and timber cutting. When his pay did not cover his living expenses he often had to hunt wild life to survive.

Underwood married May Clark, the sister of Willie Clark (q.v.). Underwood is the father of Charmaine Hollingswood (q.v.).
