BiographyHistory

Sediqa Anwari was a teacher at a girls' high school in Afghanistan. She left her country during the Russian occupation and lived in Pakistan, where she taught Afghan children. She came to Australia in 2002. (From Poetry Across Rooftops, p. 88)
