BiographyHistory

Barry Donovan is a Melbourne journalist who has worked for Bob Hawke and Simon Crean and been involved in Australian politics for thirty-five years. He worked for The Age in the 1970's and with the Cain and Hawke governments in the 1980's and 1990's. Donovan was media manager for the University of Melbourne from 1993 to 1997 before becoming an adviser to the Brumby/Bracks Labor Party in Victoria.
