BiographyHistory

Sydney-based, Frew Publications was an Australian pulp publisher which specialised in producing novelettes and comics. Toni Johnson-Woods notes that the company was "founded in 1948 when four men (Ron Forsyth, Jim Richardson, Jack Eisen, and Peter Water) contributed £500 each to start a publishing company" (Pulp: A Collector's Book of Australian Pulp Fiction Covers 58) and is best known for printing Phantom comics.
