Michael Atchison was an Australian cartoonist who worked for The Advertiser for forty years. Atchison was born in Victoria and moved with his family to Adelaide when he was six. He attended Glenelg Primary School and King's College. He published his first cartoon at the age of 15. Atchison studied at the Adelaide Teachers' College then taught in schools for six years before moving with his wife Olga to Britain where he sold cartoons to magazines such as Punch and was the Art Director for a Londo....
