Corry de Haas-Siemons was born in Oudenbosch, Holland. After completing high school in Holland, she worked as a steno-typist and clerk. After arriving in Australia she completed numerous Technical and Further Education (TAFE) courses in Greek and creative writing. She has been a member of the Queensland Federation of Australian Writers, Dynamic Scribes, the Queensland Poets Association and Ethnic Writers in Queensland. Her work has won many prizes and has received six highly commended awards fro....
