Sister M. Assumpta was a member of the Order of Saint Dominic in Australia. She was the youngest of at least three children of Charles and Margaret O'Hanlon of Queanbeyan, New South Wales. As well as children's books, O'Hanlon wrote a number of historical and religious works including Christ the Divine Liberator of Woman (1944), Dominican Pioneers in New South Wales (1949), St. Dominic : servant but friend (1954), The Queen's own : the story of the loss and restoration of devotion to Our Blessed....
