BiographyHistory

John Palmer has been a teacher since 1960 and a writer since 1965. He has written many television specials for children and won several international awards. Palmer also wrote the songs for the film of Dot and the Kangaroo (1977), which were published in the book of the film written by Daniel Hargreaves (1977). Kerry White's Australian Children's Books: A Bibliography, Volume Three 1989-2000 (2004) indicates that Palmer wrote Blinky Bill's Search, but it has not been traced. No publication details have been listed.
