Edward Brodie Mack (who dervied his 'pen name' from that of his father, James Brodie Mack) attended Otaga High School, New Zealand, and initially worked for the New Zealand Lands and Survey Office. He contributed cartoons to the New Zealand Freelance during 1915-1916, before migrating to Sydney, Australia, where he worked as a booking manager for Fullers' Theatres, while establishing his reputation as a prolific cartoonist. Mack submitted caricatures and sports cartoons to various newspapers and....
