BiographyHistory

William Calvert was a Melbourne artist and engraver, the second son of Edward Calvert and the brother of Samuel Calvert (qq.v.), both of whom were engravers. He published Calvert's Illustrated Almanac for Victoria for the years 1855 through to 1859 with his brother Samuel.
