Felicia Hemans was an English poet whose work was sometimes published in nineteenth-century Australian newspapers including the Queenslander, the Colonist, the Australian Town and Country Journal, the Temperance Advocate and Australasian Commercial and Agricultural Intelligencer, the Colonist, the Geelong Advertiser, the Colonial Literary Journal and Weekly Miscellany of Useful Information and the Sydney Monitor and Comercial Advertiser.
