Wing-Commander the Hon. T. W. White (D.F.C., V.D., M.H.R., F.R.G.S.) served with Australia's first overseas flying unit in World War One. He was captured by Turkish forces and held prisoner for two years. He escaped through Russia. White also served in World War II, mostly in a training capacity. He was the Federal Minister for Trade and Customs from 1933 to 1938, and by 1956 was High Commissioner for Australia in London.....
