Born in North Sydney in 1949, Nigel Krauth was educated at the universities of Newcastle and Queensland and the ANU, and has taught English at several universities, including the University of Papua New Guinea. His research interests lie in Australian Literature, Creative Writing, Children's Literature and South Pacific Literatures. In 1982, Krauth was co-winner of the Australian/Vogel Literary Award, with his novel Matilda, My Darling which is a fictional investigation of events surrounding the....
