BiographyHistory

Toni Johnson-Woods has been a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland. She has written on television, popular and pulp fiction and 19th century Australian/British/American serialised fiction. She is has researched the Australian pulp fiction industry (1939-1959) with particular emphasis on crime fiction authors 'Carter Brown' (Alan G. Yates) and 'Larry Kent' .

Johnson-Woods was the project leader in the AustLit Australian Popular Fictions Research Community.
