BiographyHistory

Candida Baker first visited Australia in 1975 with a Royal Shakespeare Company production; she emigrated in 1977 and later became an Australian citizen. Baker has studied Australian literature and drama, and published articles, critical works and fiction. She has worked as a journalist with the Age, Time Australia, the Times on Sunday, Good Weekend and the Sydney Morning Herald.
