BiographyHistory

Founded in 1983 by former William Collins hardback manager, James Fraser, the company's first book was Robert Drewe's Bodysurfers. James Fraser Publishing also published the works of John Peel, Renate Yates, and Evan Green.

In 1985, the business was sold to Pan Books Australia and James Fraser accepted the position of Pan Books publisher.
