BiographyHistory

Ron Krebs moved from Ipswich with his family to Brisbane, where he completed his Junior Certificate at the Church of England Grammar School. He then became an apprentice typographer. All his working life was spent in the printing industry. His 1984 Warana Award winning play, We'll Dress Her Like Shirley Temple, was published by Playlab Press and several of his other plays were performed by theatre groups. Krebs was also a successful amateur painter. He was the son of Vincent Krebs (q.v.)
