History
'The Katharine Susannah Prichard Writers' Centre is run under the auspices of the Katharine Susannah Prichard Foundation Inc. It is located in the Perth Hills, in the former home of Katharine Susannah Prichard, the internationally celebrated author of Coonardoo, Working Bullocks and many other novels, stories and plays. The centre encourages and facilitates services for writers at all levels of the craft. The Katharine Susannah Prichard Speculative Fiction Awards have two sections: the Open Awards, and the Mundaring National Young Writers Awards (for entrants twenty years old and under)'.
