Notes

  • 'This award for the year's best crime novel translated into English from another language is named for its sponsor, Duncan Lawrie Private Bank. It was introduced in 2006 and is a new award (although translated works were previously eligible for the gold and silver daggers). The prize consists of an ornamental dagger and 5,000 pounds for the winning author and 1,000 pounds for the translator...'
