History

The Young Australian Readers Awards were judges by children for their choice of Book of the Year. Children were able to review books and vote on the award website. Winners were announced on International School Libraries Day. (Glebe and Inner City News, 6 February, 2002 p. 25)

Notes

  • The Young Australian Readers' Awards are the first national, online students choice awards in Australia (http://www.yara-online.org/).
  • The award was running in 2005, but no 2005 winners are listed on the (now defunct) website.
