Launched in August 1946, the

Eve Pownall. In addition to regular contributors, Farwell, Pownall and
Ken Levis, contributors included
Rosemary Dobson,
Alan Marshall,
Aileen Palmer,
Miles Franklin,
James Devaney,
Ruth Park,
Frank Dalby Davison,
Vance Palmer,
Nettie Palmer,
Douglas Stewart,
R. G. Howarth,
C. Hartley Grattan,
James McAuley and
Kenneth Slessor. Each issue also included a list of books supplied to the National Library under the provisions of the Copyright Act.
