Janine Schmidt is an Arts graduate of The University of Queensland and has a Master's degree in Librarianship from the University of New South Wales. In 2004 Schmidt was presented with an ALIA Fellowship for her contribution to the field of Librarianship. Schmidt was a member of the AustLit Advisoy Board until the end of 2004.
