'Lynn Santer is of Russian/Romanian/Gypsy/Jewish heritage and was born and raised in London. Santer wrote and submitted her first Magical Scarecrow story at the age of nine. Twenty five years later, having written thrillers and celebrity biographies, she rewrote the original stories for her nephews, becoming "Auntie Lynn" to a new generation. In a philanthropic gesture the stories were later illustrated to form part of "The Magical Scarecrows Kids Who Read Succeed" program.
