BiographyHistory

Allen Keane was educated at an English Grammar School. He was a police officer in the Middle East, served in the army and worked as an ambulance driver before migrating to Australia with his wife and two children and settling in Melbourne. Later they moved further north, where he worked as a driving instructor.

Keane started writing in 1975, publishing his collection of short stories in 1981.
