Based in Brisbane, Kooemba Jdarra Indigenous Performing Arts produces contemporary performances that present the stories of Indigenous Australians throughout Australia and internationally. The company was incorporated in 1993, the International Year of Indigenous People. Kooemba Jdarra is a not-for-profit organisation that receives core funding through the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island Commission, Australia Council and Arts Queensland.
