BiographyHistory

D. W. Burbidge was a solicitor, who also had experience as a journalist and editor. He wrote novels, plays in English and French (unpublished) and librettos for operettas. Apart from his published novels, he wrote 'Godiva Brown' which was advertised by Celadon Press as forthcoming, but does not seem to have been published. He was also the author of pamphlets on the Douglas Social Credit Movement. Husband of Enid Ethel Ryton Burbidge (q.v.)
