BiographyHistory

Robson returned to journalism after working at a variety of jobs when he arrived in Australia from New Zealand. He had written a travel booklet, Historic - Romantic- Scenic - Northland N.Z.'s Sub-Tropical Playground [1971?], before leaving, thus demonstrating some ability to his employers at many publications such as The Melbourne Truth. Robson is best known for his full-time writing of articles in Good Weekend. The high quality of his journalism has been noted in academic journalism articles and books, and has won him awards. He has also written for television and contributed short stories to publications such as Australian Short Stories.
