BiographyHistory

In the 1930s Mcleod served as President of The Dramatists' Club of Australia. Her involvement also included writing and producing plays for the club. McLeod founded the Swan Hill National Theatre in 1943, directing and producing with the company for many years. Until 1946 she taught speech and was an actor and writer for ABC radio.
