Jane Harrison was commissioned by Ilbijerri Theatre Company to write the play Stolen which was included in the VCE English and NSW HSC syllabi and awarded the Kate Challis RAKA Award in 2002. Since, Jane Harrison has penned the drama Rainbow's End premiering in 2005, also gaining inclusion into the NSW HSC syllabus between 2009 and 2012. Her play Blakvelvet was the winner of the Theatrelab Indigenous Award in 2006. In 2007, Jane Harrison was the recipient of the Peter Holmes a Court Indigenous Award for her latest play Custody.
