    Epigraph: "(On Friday next — Warriors' Day — red poppies will be sold in Sydney streets, the proceeds from which are to be devoted to the relief of distressed families of fallen soldiers of New South Wales and France. Moneys received from all other sources except the sale of poppies will go to the Warriors' Fund Day.)"
