'Twelve-year-old Kip Kirby is going on his first space scout mission! But how fun will his mission be if his spaceship is acting like a grumpy babysitter?

'It's the year 3054, and Earth is overpopulated and quickly running out of resources. The human race needs to move to a new planet, and it's up to the Space Scouts to find one before it's too late. Twelve-year-old Kip Kirby is Earth's youngest ever Space Scout. When he's not playing Particleball or riding his rocketboard, he's on scouting missions. He and his half-wolf, half-human co-pilot, Finbar, travel the universe in the MoNa 4000, their spaceship whose personality is stuck on the 'Grumpy Babysitter' setting. In each mission the threesome investigates a new planet. There are surprises in store around every corner. Will Kip be the Space Scout to find the new Earth and save humanity?' (Publication summary)
