Contains a brief reference to Eric [sic] Remarque (aka Erich Maria Remarque, q.v.), noting that the German author of All Quiet on the Western Front, 'lives in Switzerland. At Berlin the Customs officials have taken possession of his bank account. The reason being that Remarque is supposed to have smuggled over to Switzerland the proceeds of his famous book which has brought him a profit of £25,000.'
