(p. 10, 48)A rich racing car driver uses cigarettes and scotch to cover his fear of racing. His fiancee falls in love with his portrait painter and they marry quickly. The driver falls in love with and marries a female journalist friend. He is then able to give up racing by saying she did not like him putting his life at risk.
