  • Christmas Number
  • Contains feature, 'Let Us Examine A Few Notabilities!', which comprises comments by various (literary) personalities who respond to questions about 'Xmas Decorum'. With accompanying portraits, the piece is prefaced as 'an inquisitorial section in which a number of notable candidates, by submitting themselves for examination in the principles of Xmas decorum, graduate with honors and solve some of the knottier problems of the higher etiquette'. The 'candidates' include: M. Rene Turck, Dorothea Mackellar, Judge Beeby, Kenneth Slessor, Hugh McCrae, R. J. H. Moses, Frank Middlemiss, Jack Cannot, John Dalley, L. H. Allen, Frank Clarke, Mrs E. Apperley and Les Robinson.
